Why was this site born?
The site was born about 10 years ago to finally give the right historical and artistic dignity to the Royal Palace of Caserta and the House of the Two Sicilies, and was immediately created also in English in order to promote knowledge of the Royal Palace abroad.
Before this site was born, the Royal Palace of Caserta was defined as “little Versailles” or “Versailles of Italy” but, thanks to this website, now everyone, even abroad, defines it as “the largest royal palace in the world” giving it the prominence it deserves.
