Herculaneum

The Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, less famous than Pompeii, offers a unique experience that combines beauty and tragedy with the remains of the victims still visible. Its history linked to Hercules and the Roman nobility is reflected in the precious finds such as the Villa of the Papyri preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Naples.

Capri

Capri, an island in the Gulf of Naples, is famous for its Marina Grande port and for having been the residence of Roman emperors. Rich in history and Roman monuments, it is a popular tourist destination for its mild climate and natural beauty, offering a fascinating contrast between rural life and luxury.

Ischia

Ischia is known for its thermal spas, beaches, rugged landscapes and botanical gardens. The highest peak, Epomeo, can be reached by hiking. The beauty of the landscapes, the art, the volcanic activity and the charming villages make Ischia a fascinating destination to explore.

Sorrento

Caserta is famous for the Royal Palace, but the province offers many other tourist attractions. There are archaeological remains, mountains, charming villages and historical places to visit. In addition, the province is known for the two best pizzerias in the world.

Caserta

Caserta offers much more than the Royal Palace: the city center, shopping, Casertavecchia, San Leucio and the Carolino Aqueduct are must-see attractions. The city, modern but with ancient roots, boasts the 17th-century Royal Palace of the Bourbons. These destinations are easily accessible by car or public transportation.

Capua

The city of Capua, founded in the 9th century on the site of the ancient Casilinum, has a historic center with Lombard churches and the Museo Campano which houses the collection of Matres Matutae, sculptures linked to the cult of family and fertility. Capua is also known as the birthplace of the Italian language.

Santa Maria Capua Vetere

Santa Maria Capua Vetere is home to one of the oldest Roman amphitheatres, second only to the Colosseum. The underground and surrounding museums offer ancient relics related to Spartacus' revolt and the gladiator school. The well-preserved underground Mithraeum, dedicated to the God Mithras, is a must-see.

Casertavecchia

Casertavecchia is a medieval village near the Royal Palace of Caserta, founded in the 8th century. It retains its charm with the square, the bell tower, the Cathedral in Sicilian-Norman style, the castle and breathtaking views. It seems that time has stopped and you can meet the typical good-wishing spirits of the place.

Aversa

Aversa, founded by the Normans in 1030, is the first independent Norman county in Italy, located north of Atella. The medieval historic center preserves concentric streets and boasts a rich religious heritage, with numerous churches and monasteries, earning it the nickname "the city of a thousand churches".

Prata Sannita

The center of Prata Sannita, with its medieval fortress and historic churches, offers an overview of local history and art. In addition, the presence of ancient structures such as the Officina Lete hydroelectric plant and the old paper mill add further elements of historical and cultural interest to the place.
