Capri is an island at the entrance to the Gulf of Naples facing the Sorrento peninsula. It has a small port (Marina Grande) and includes the municipalities of Capri and Anacapri. The island was the favorite place of Augustus and Tiberius, who lived there during the last ten years of his life. It has many ruins of Roman monuments (Jovis villas, Damecuta and many others). It is a popular destination for Italian and foreign tourists; it boasts a very mild climate and has been one of the most popular seaside resorts since the last century.
Capri is an island that at times seems inhabited only by goats, an island that combines the simplicity of living in contact with breathtaking nature with the ostentatious luxury of fishermen and celebrities who come from all over the world.
