The Bourbonic Nativity

During the Christmas days the Palace will be opened to the public with the usual opening hours. In addition to the traditional visit to the Nativity located in the elliptical hall of the Royal Apartments, a nice surprise are ready for younger visitors, that with their parents will visit the Royal Palace.

On 26, 27 and 28 December 2014, and on the 3 and 5 January 2015 at 11.00 a.m. there will be a real treasure hunt: children up to 12 years will be divided into groups, and equipped with a map of the Palace, they will seek , locate on the map and paste the details required by the mission. The winners will receive a special prize, the other a consolation prize. The children and their parents will be accompanied by specialized guides into the Royal Apartments, and the 90 minutes visit will end into the halls of the Nativity where they will listen Christmas fairy tales . At the end of the visit, families will see into the “retrostanze”, many models of the games and carousels that entertained the young Bourbon Princes: swings, Ferris wheels (including the so-called “air fleet”) and the curious “Egyptian bird”, ancestor of the modern shooting. The event is organized in collaboration with the educational serviceS of the Royal Palace of Caserta by Civita Musea. It is advisable to book by phone or e-mail.

Cost: 5.00 per child. One parent for max 2 children, will receive a free ticket.

 
The Palace will be closed on 25 December 2014 and January 1, 2015.
